Fawny Holiday Week: Eat, Drink and Be Merry

If you have been Get Cracking on Christmas with me all year– maybe you are all caught up on your holiday cards? If not, here is some more inspiration!

I started by stamping the bear, sweater, hat, speech bubble and candy cane from Ugly & Bright. I stamped them onto Neenah cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I used the Copic markers below to color the images. With the swatches below, you can easily substitute them for similar colors or even a different coloring medium. I then stenciled the background with the Peppermint Stripes stencil. I used Lawn Fawn Bubblegum Ink, going darker with one layer of the stencil and lighter with the other. I used the Make Art STAY-tion to hold my stencil in place while ink blending. I stenciled on Distress White Heavystock, my favorite cardstock for ink blending! I splattered a little bit of gold paint from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Palette.
I diecut the background out of the largest stitched rectangle in the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I matted the background onto Gold Sparkle Cardstock.

I then created the peppermint border using some ink blended Distress White Heavystock (with BubbleGum ink), Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock and die-cut the Peppermint Border.

For the sentiment, I gold embossed “Eat, Drink, And” from the Ugly & Bright stamp set. I then hot-foiled “Be merry” from Winter Big Scripty Words with gold.

I added some gold sparkle hearts that I die-cut with the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag; I also added touches of Prisma Glitter with a Quickie Glue pen- along the peppermint stripe and on the sweater, hat, and candy cane.
