Festive Fun, Simon Says Stamp

Hey everyone! Today, I am sharing a fun card I created using some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamp Festive Release!

Festive Fun, Simon Says Stamp

For this card, I started by dry embossing the Fluted Forest Decor Embossing Folder on Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I added some color to the embossed images with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I added some splatters as well with Scorched Timber Distress Watercolor Pencil and gold paint from the Gansai Tambi Starry palette. I then die-cut a stitched oval, watercolored some Tumbled Glass Distress Watercolor Pencil, and sprinkled some Wow Embossing Opaque White Ultra High embossing powder. I melted the oval from behind, leaving behind some “snow”.

I then die cut Frosty out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and added color with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I assembled the snowman and added it to the stitched oval. I then white embossed a sentiment from Season’s Greetings. I did a red watercolor wash over it and cut it into a word strip.

I added some Prisma Glitter to the snowman, glossy accents to the coal eyes and buttons, and Distress Mica Flakes with Distress Collage Medium to the ground under the snowman.
