What is the Wicked Little Countdown?
Think advent calendar… but make it Halloween. 🎃
The Wicked Little Countdown is a two-day virtual crafting event where you’ll create a 13-day Halloween advent calendar featuring a fun mix of whimsical Lawn Fawn and mixed media techniques. It is equal parts spooky, creative, and just plain fun.
How does it work?
Lessons will take place over two days, October 3-4, 2026, and will be hosted on unlisted YouTube videos, no Facebook account required! You can join us live or watch on replay at your own pace. Either way, you won’t miss a thing.
What’s included?
A carefully curated kit will be delivered right to your door, packed with almost everything you need to create your 13-day Halloween advent calendar. Here’s what you can expect:
- A beautifully created kit with all the hand-stamped and die-cut Lawn Fawn images you’ll need
- Hours of instruction and creative class time across two days
- A downloadable event handout with close-up images of the finished project, supply lists, and all the details you need
- Copic coloring guides for all the images we’ll be coloring, plus a Copic/OLO comparison chart (you can use any coloring medium you love!)
- And knowing these two… there will be a few surprises along the way 👀🖤 (It’s the East Coast Fawnies, they always have something up their sleeves!)
You will need a few basic supplies from home such as adhesives, ink pads, some fun mixed media supplies, and other standard papercrafting tools. A full supply list will be provided as we get closer to the event- but with plenty of time to organize.
Who is this for?
Anyone who loves paper crafting, Halloween, Lawn Fawn, mixed media, or just wants a really good excuse to sit down and create something magical. All levels are welcome, though a basic understanding of papercrafting (stamping, coloring, etc.) is helpful.

Refund Policy & Event Access
Due to the nature of this event, all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued. Once you register and complete payment, you will receive immediate access to the event resource page, including exclusive links and materials, making refunds unavailable.
If you are unable to attend the event live, no worries! You’ll still have full access to the replay videos and all event resources to watch at your convenience.

How this will work
Once you purchase this online event, you’ll be able to access the event resource page by logging into your account at www.shurkus.com/my-account. From there, select “My Classes & Events” and click on the event name.
Optional Facebook Group
You’re welcome to join my {creative chick} studio share Facebook group to connect with fellow attendees, though this is completely optional and not required to participate in the event.
Important: Approval for the Facebook group is a manual process handled by Jenn, so please allow some time. To speed things up, make sure to answer the three membership questions when requesting to join, this helps confirm you’re a real participant (and not a bot!).
Order Processing & Event Supplies
- Your order will not be marked as processed until your kit has shipped, but you can check your order status anytime by logging into your account and selecting “Orders.”
- A downloadable class supply list will be available at a later date on the event resource page. Attendees will be emailed when it is available.
FAQ
Q: What is the cost of the event?
A: $140 + shipping
Q: Can I purchase more than one ticket?
A: Yes, you can purchase more than one seat in the event. After you are registered, you will be directed to a form to give the name, email and address of the friend or friends you have registered
Q: How long will you have access to the class:
A: Indefinitely (as long as YouTube is around)
Q: I don’t have Facebook. How can I join the class?
A: You don’t need Facebook to be able to access the event videos, and LIVEs
Q: I don’t have all the supplies listed.
A: You can always substitute for similar items, or leave something out.
Q: Your class is at 12 pm Eastern time, but I live in England. What time will your class air?
A: Go to World Clock and personalize the clocks at the top with New York time and your local time.
Q: I never got the confirmation email.
A: Your order will not process until the event box has shipped. Some communication emails end up in your Spam or Social folders. If you can’t find it, you can log into your account here, go to “my classes & events” and access the class resource page that way. If you still need help email ([email protected])
Q: I took one online live class. Will your next class go to the same group?
A: No, each class, or event will have its own unique links. You must sign up for each class separately.
Q: Where do I find the video?
A: On the event resource page you will have access to the private YouTube links, and at the time of the event (or after the event) access the videos from those.
Q: What payment options do you offer?
A: We accept credit cards and PayPal.
Q: Can I have a refund for the class
A: Unfortunately, since you have already gained access to the event resource page, being provided the private links there are no refunds. If you can not attend the event during the scheduled time you will have access to the replays of the videos, the handouts, etc.
Q: I have technical problems!
A: Email us and we will do her best to help. However, if it is in the middle of the LIVE we obviously will not be able to get back to you until after. Note that the videos will work well on your computer with a high-speed internet connection. They are not guaranteed to work on tablets, but we have tested them on our iPad and they worked well.
Q: In what language is the event?
A: The classes are in English. There is no written transcript of the videos.
