Hi, everyone! I am here today to share a card I created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This challenge is encouraging you to create a card using the sketch above as inspiration! There are so many possibilities and it is always fun to see how people translate the sketch onto their projects.

Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-

Magical Season, Lawn Fawnatics

For this card, I combined Winter Skies stamp set along with Nighttime Sky and Hillsides Stencils.

I stamped out the images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, on Lawn Fawn white cardstock which is Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White Paper, colored them with Copic markers, and then die-cut them out. The silhouette of Santa’s sleigh I stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink for a nice crisp bold image. You can see all the Copic markers I used for coloring below, and they are all linked to shopping at the bottom of this post.

I created the background by die-cutting the largest stitched rectangle from the Outside In Stitched Rectangle set out of Distress White Heavystock Cardstock. I then used the Nighttime Sky stencils and ink blended the moon with Shaded Lilac and Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I then ink-blended the snowy hillside with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. Using the Hillside stencil as a mask and the moon mask included in the nighttime sky stencil, I ink-blended the background with Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord. I dusted the edges with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink.

I used an blender brushes (that I store in my favorite brush caddy). As always when I use stencils I use the Make Art Stay-tion and whenever I am ink blending I love to use the Ink Stands to hold my ink pads, I also use a small mister bottle filled with Isopropyl Alcohol, to quickly clean my stencils with a Flour Sack Cloth

I then used Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink and the 1.75″ grid block to stamp some of the smaller sparkle images in the night sky. Next, I glittered all of the things, by adding Prisma glitter with a Quickie Glue Pen as a sparkle detail on the scarf and snowflakes. I used Glossy Accents and Chunky Glitter along the tree boughs and the ground. I like to spread the glossy accents, and then sprinkle the Chunky Glitter, so it falls here and there. Lastly, I added a black glaze pen to the bears’ noses and stamped the sentiment underneath them.
