Love You Mandala, Simon Says Stamp

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing with you another card I made with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps And Back Again Release!

Love You Mandala, Simon Says Stamp

I was having so much fun creating with the new Layering Heart Mandala Stencil set when I created these birthday cards, I jumped right into creating this card too! One thing that is really cool about this stencil set is all the different masks it includes, so you can choose to use only parts of the stencil at a time. For this card, I played with those masks to ink blend the different colors.

I ink blended the background using Simon Says Stamp blending brushes, and Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I used Bubblegum, Sweets and Taffy. I used the masks included in the stencil set, so that the colors wouldn’t blend together. The Pawsitively Saturated SSS inks ink blend like a dream on Distress White Heavystock!

Whenever I am stenciling, I use the Wendy Vecchi Stay-tion. It’s a magnetic board with strong magnets and grid helping to hold layers in place, and straight! I love this tool and it makes me want to use my stencils SO much more!!

After I stenciled the colors, I used the full stencil to spread some Lawn Fawn Fairy Dust Stencil Paste, to add a little sparkle.

I then embossed the “love love love love you” sentiment from XL Love Greetings using Versafine Onyx Black and ultrafine clear embossing powder on some vellum. I separated the sentiment so I could fill in the space with the new Outline Love wafer die. I diecut this die with some Lawn Fawn Sparkle Cardstock, and an ink blended piece of cardstock that I used SSS Taffy ink on.

I matted the card front onto some Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock from Lawn Fawn
