Yay You, Simon Says Stamp

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing with you a fun, bright encouragement card I made with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps Good Let’s Chill Release! It is part of an inspiring Instagram hop, with lots of prizes to be had, so be sure to head on over to my instagram for those details.

Yay You, Simon Says Stamp

For this card, I used the new Beach Party Umbrella Cling Stamp. I stamped it with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink, on Distress White Heavystock, and die-cut it with the largest rectangle in Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Rectangle set.

I then proceeded to color the whole image with Copic markers, focusing on one umbrella and coloring it with rainbow colors, then the rest of the image in grays.

I then diecut the front layer of the Yay You sentiment out of Distress White Heavystock and colored it with the same rainbow Copic markers listed above, coloring in an ombre across the letters. I die-cut the back layer out of Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock and adhered the 2 together with a glue tube. I then used a Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma glitter and added sparkle to the top payer, you know, Glitter All of the Things!

Lastly, I added a generous layer of glossy accents over the rainbow umbrella.
