Hi everyone! I am back today to share with you another card I created with the new Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous holiday stamp release. I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products!!!
Merry Little Christmas, Tim Holtz
Using the new Holiday Scenes stamp set from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous I created this card. This set definitely makes for some quick and easy card designs, let me explain my process.
I stamped the Santa on the rooftop image on 2 pieces of Distress White Heavystock with Vintage Photo Archival. If you have been following me on my site, you know I am obsessed with Distress Watercolor cardstock. Well, I have to tell you I think the new Distress White Heavystock is going to also be a favorite. I love this cardstock!
I cut out the rooftop image from one of the stamped images, and roughed up the edges with the Tonic Paper Distresser, and set it aside. On the other panel, I ink blended with Distress Oxides and the mini ink blending tool. I used Worn Lipstick at the top and Festive Berries at the bottom.
I then used the sprinkle stamp from the Vintage Holidays stamp set and stamped it with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and Picket Fence Distress Ink. I then used a white gel pen and traced over a few of the sprinkles.
I then added the rooftop image with 3M foam tape. I used Collage Medium and filled in the snow on the edge of the roof, and where the snow had fallen on the trees, then sprinkled on Distress Rock Candy. I painted Santa’s suit and Rudolph’s nose with Rouge Liquid Pearls. I just squeezed a little out and picked up with a wet paintbrush to paint.
Lastly, using Collage Medium, I added a sprinkle of iridescent sequins over the card.
I have shared several holiday cards recently with Tim Holtz’s stamp sets and you can see them all here:
- Holly Jolly Christmas
- Vintage Santa
- Snowy Holiday Season
- Checking the Naughty List
- Peace + Love + Joy

Really has the vintage feel and love the scenes. Reminds me of my home town.
So wonderful card!
Love the vintage look, so pretty and certainly speaks to my “old soul”. What is the difference between the Archival ink and regular distress? Thanks for all you do!
Wow!!! So beautiful!
This is fabulous! I love these scenes Tim puts out but never quite sure how to use them so don’t buy them.
