Hi everyone! I am back today to share with you another card I created with the new Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous holiday stamp release. I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products!!!

Checking the Naughty List, Tim Holtz

For this card, I used the new Snarky Cat Christmas stamp set. I started by stamping the sledding cat, colored in with Copic markers, and then fussy cut the image out.

I then stamped the larger snowflakes in the set with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder on a Distress Watercolor cardstock panel.

I wanted to have an ink blended background but very soft in color so I used regular Distress Ink and Blender brushes and a rainbow of colors. Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Peacock Feathers. I then positioned the snarky cat into a stamping platform to stamp him onto the background so that all his fine details will be there when I layer the actually colored snarky cat on because I didn’t fussy cut those parts out.

Without taking the stamp out I placed the stitched hillside into the stamping platform and stamped the image as well. You can see below how everything was stamped and fussy cut to layer together.

I then die-cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die. Next, I cut a stitched hillside. I always like to then run these scene builders through the stitched rectangle die that I used so when layered together the stitching still goes around all 4 sides.

I stamped and embossed in white the sentiment, cutting it out into strips like word fetti. I inked these with the same Distress Ink colors, but a bit darker in color than the background.

Lastly, I used a glue tube and Rock Candy Distress Glitter to add snow underneath the sled, even flying behind it. So fun! I set the scene on a panel of Pixie Dust Glitter cardstock, because, why not?!
