Hi everyone! I am honored to share that I am now a Tim Holtz maker!!! You all know my love for all things Distress, now I will be sharing even more inspiration with Tim Holtz products from Stampers Anonymous! (Jennabler alert)
I hope you were able to catch the Tim Holtz Facebook Live today where Tim shared tons of holiday inspiration using the brand new seasonal products that are being released from Stampers Anonymous…if not you should be able to watch the replay of all the fun projects soon!
Tim Holtz: 2020 Stampers Anonymous Holiday
I have a bunch of cards I will be sharing with you over the next couple of weeks. I had so much fun creating them, and really stretching my creative mojo. I also enjoyed sparkling up each and every card with a variety of glitters and embellishments. I think I was trying to get Tim and Mario to sparkle a little bit 😉 I also can not create holiday cards without sparkle sooooo……
One more thing- if you are new around here I think I should warn you- I LOVE to create holiday cards with a non-traditional color scheme. Pink instead of red, lime green instead of “regular” green. I hope you enjoy today’s card and will check back for more cards to come!

Tim Holtz: 2020 Stampers Anonymous Holiday
For this VERY pink Santa card I used the new Vintage Holidays and Bold Tidings 2. I started off by stamping Santa with Antique Linen Distress Ink on Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then watercolored him with Distress Inks for a no-line watercoloring look. I used Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Hickory Smoke. He looked like this after watercoloring him:
Next, I went in with colored pencils and added some more dimension and texture in certain areas. This is a trick I learned from Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker and it really makes a HUGE difference!
I then fussy cut out Mr. Claus and set him aside. Next up I ink blended a sheet of cardstock with Picked Raspberry and added some Worn Lipstick on the sides. It truly looked like it was glowing, and I LOVE that!
I then stamped “Merry + Bright” with Distress Oxide, Worn Lipstick. Next up I stamped the fun little “sparkle” stamp that comes in Vintage Holidays. I stamped this around the edges with Festive Berries Distress Oxide.
I then used foam tape to pop Santa up on the card. Using Distress Collage Medium, I added some Rock Candy Dry Glitter to the fuzz of his Santa suit and hat. Since the rock candy is a bit of a chunkier glitter, it needs something with a stronger hold like Distress Collage Medium. Next, I used a Quickie Glue pen to add Prisma Glitter to the bow on the present, and then Distress Glitter Dust in Platinum to his belt buckle, and to the letters for “bright”. Since those glitters are more fine, something like a Quickie Glue pen works perfectly and allows me to have more detail.
I really hope you find this inspiring, and it reminds you that not all Santa’s need to have a red suit 😉
Remember, I will be back with more Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous cards to share with you- so be sure to come back and visit, or better yet subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss out!
