Hey everyone! Today I am sharing some fun friendship cards I made with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps Kisses Release! It is part of an inspiring Instagram hop, with lots of prizes to be had, so be sure to head on over to my instagram for those details.

Encouragement Cards, Simon Says Stamp

These cards actually came together pretty quickly. I started with the backgrounds, by ink blending with the new Candy Hearts layering stencils and Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I used the following colors:

• Guava
• Watermelon
• Lemonade
• Sunbeam
• Seafoam
• Surf

I used Simon Says Stamp blender brushes (that I store in my favorite brush caddy), and whenever I am ink blending I love to use the Ink Stands to hold my ink pads. As always when I use stencils I used the Make Art Stay-tion. I also use a small mister bottle filled with Isopropyl Alcohol, to quickly clean my stencils with a Flour Sack Cloth.

Once I had each of the backgrounds ink blended, I then die cut them with the largest stitched rectangle from the Outside In Stitched Rectangle set from Lawn Fawn. I then used the new Hi There Greetings stamp set, to stamp all the words on the background. Using a Misti Stamping Platform, I positioned each sentiment where I wanted it, and then I could quickly stamp each of the sentiments at once, and quickly stamp each of the backgrounds. I used Versafine Onyx Black Ink to get a nice crisp impression with these bold sentiments.

I assembled each of the backgrounds onto some black cardstock and then finished the card off by adding a Heart Shaped Bubble Embellishment from Trinity Stamps, to dot the “i” in the main sentiment.
