6 Fun Greetings with Flora & Fauna Goodies

Hi everyone! I have 6 fun greetings using a ton of  Flora & Fauna goodies! Be sure to read to the end where there are details on a fun giveaway!

6 Fun Greetings with Flora & Fauna Goodies

hi there

For this card I used the new Wendy Vecchi, Stay-Tion. This tool allows you to hold in place a stencil for inking etc. I used the new Flora & Fauna Mini Polka Dot Stencil, Distress Blending Brushes and inked a rainbow background. The Stay-Tion made this so quick and simple.

I used regular Distress Ink- Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, and Seedless Preserves.

I then die cut 3 VW’s. I am a sucker for all the stamps and dies with them. I still hope to own a vintage one some day 😉

I added the sentiment “hi there” and a touch of  Sea Spray Stickles to the tires.

 

oh happy day!

For this card, I stamped out a fun rainbow background using the Texture 8 stamp set. I used Distress Oxide inks for this, they stamp so nicely. Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet.

I colored in the fun little sloth with Copics, fussy cut him out, and then stamped the heart in his hands with Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink.

For the sentiments, I “word fetti’d” the sentiment that came with the Sloth set, and also added “Oh happy day!” from the Everyday Word Party Stamp Set.

let’s be mermaids

I just love the “let’s be mermaids” banner stamp in the Mermaid Birthday Party set! I stenciled the background with the Mini Polka Dot Stencil, using Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers regular Distress Ink. I stamped the banner with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide.

I ink blended some cardstock with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide and regular Twisted Citron Distress, spritzed with a little water and die cut a ton of seaweed with the Sea Life Dies. I then inked the tops a little with Mowed Lawn Regular Distress. I used the seaweed on all 3 mermaid cards.

I colored the mermaid and some fishies with Copic markers. I added some Prisma Glitter with a Quickie Glue Pen and some stickles to her flower.

Mer-Magical Birthday

For this mer-magical card, I created an inky background with Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink. Layering the 2 kinds of inks really gives a fun look and so much dimension. Once dry I think used the mini Polka Dot stencil and Vicki Boutin’s Iridescent Glitter Texture Paste. This is so sparkly and fun! Coloring some more images with Copics, and adding some Sea Weed from earlier.

Of course a little bit of Prisma Glitter, and added some Chunky Glitter too. Since her flower stamps out black, I cover that up using stickles!

mermaid birthday wishes

This card was created from the “scraps” of when I cut out the scalloped circle from the previous card. I created another inky panel for my backdrop, mixing in some Twisted Citron Distress Ink to offset it. I also stamped some texture from the Texture 8 stamp set using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide. Adding a beach stitched hillside that was inked with Tea Dye Distress Oxide. More of the seaweed I made earlier.

Embellishing with Prisma Glitter, Chunky Glitter, Stickles and in this case, the Scallop Shell Present, I used Liquid Pearls for the bow.

I love the sandcastle birthday cake that is part of the Mermaid Birthday set. So I decided to use it with some of my Exclusive Cape Cod Stamps, cut the candles off and you have just a cute sand castle!

I colored the images with Copic markers, I love how the rainbow Adirondack chairs came out 😉  Lots of ink blending with Distress Oxides to get the beachy colors I wanted. Used up the rest of the seaweed I had as well.

Combined a sentiment from my Cape Cod Set, as well as the “hello” from Everyday Word Party. Of course, there is glitter and all the glitters 🙂
