Ok, let’s be honest.
November rolls around and we say to ourselves “man I should’ve started making holiday cards A LOT sooner.”
or
“I have so many wicked cute holiday sets that I haven’t even had a chance to play with yet.”
I am going to guess that most of you who are reading this post fall into one if not both of those scenarios. So last year I was talking with my crafty friends and I mentioned it would be fun to challenge each other to create at least one-holiday card a month. I mean, that would give me 12 handmade holiday cards to send out this year and that would be way more then I sent out last year.
So each month on the third Thursday I am going to post a holiday creation and hopefully inspire you to create one too! I lost track of my Thursdays this month, so I am a week late. OOPS!

We can do this! We can create holiday cards all year, and be a little bit more prepared for the holiday season!

Get Cracking: Snowflake Cheers, Lawn Fawn
I’m sort of on an Alcohol Ink kick lately. I hosted a fun Facebook LIVE in my Facebook Group the other night. I hope to share a recap blog post soon about it, just have been swamped getting ready for the Creative Journey Art Retreat this weekend.
This card was really quick to put together. On Yupo paper, I made an alcohol ink background using Pool, Pistachio and Patina
I then die cut out snowflakes using Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Snowflakes and Mini Snowflake dies.
For the sentiment, I die cut out one of the Lawn Fawn Fancy Folded Banners and stamped “Cheers” from Lawn Fawn’s Simply Winter Sentiments in Merman Ink.
For the background, I ink blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide all over and then dusted the edges with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.
Arranging the sentiment and snowflakes on the card and using the Lawn Fawn Glue Tube to adhere it. For just a touch of sparkle, I added a few sequins.
Ok, your turn to make a holiday card! I can’t wait to see what you make 🙂

Love this Jenn!
Ohhhhh I lovvvvvvvve this Jen!
Oh, those snowflakes look so pretty die cut from the alcohol ink background. I have piles of alcohol ink background waiting to be used. I think I’ll try using some with die cuts. See you Saturday!
