Underwater Adventures, Trinity Stamps

I am so excited to share with you the new release from Trinity Stamps! They are often a sponsor of my Creative Journey Art Retreats, and I always love creating with their supplies! Ok- let’s get to the good stuff!

I created three different cards to share with you today- let’s get started with the details! For these two jellyfish cards, I used the new Jellyfish Wish and Sea Life Silhouettes stamp sets. I ink blended the background with Distress inks: Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers onto Distress White Heavystock. I then used Distress Watercolor Pencils directly on the stamps and stamped them onto the paper. For the larger jellyfish, I stamped it onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock and used a wet paintbrush to soften some of the lines.

I added some of the new Angel Aura Rhinestone mix from Trinity Stamps. When working with embellishments I love working with Trinity Stamps Tidy Tray and PickUp Tool. I also added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter along the sea floor and the tentacles of the jellyfish. I added the sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black which stamps nice and crisp on an inky background.

For this next card, I used the Underwater Scene stamp and embossed it in white onto Distress Watercolor cardstock. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I used  Yeti Lawn Fawn pigment ink, and Alabaster White Brutus Monroe White Embossing Powder.

I then watercolored the scene pulling pigment directly from Distress Watercolor Pencils. Next, I stamped one of the mermaids from Mermazing. I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black and Lawn Fawn white cardstock which is Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White Paper to stamp them. I used the below Copic markers to color the image. You will find them linked below in the cardmaking supply list. With the swatches above you can easily substitute for similar colors or even a different coloring medium.

I then used a full shaker pouch for an A2 card and created a shaker card. I filled it with some of the new flat sequins from trinity stamps. I love to use this organizer to keep all of my embellishments from Trinity stamps organized.

The last card, I wanted to share with you today, is a card I designed for my recent *virtual* Creative Journey Art Retreat. All attendees got the new Sea You Soon stamp set from Trinity stamps and we created this card.
