Ok, now onto some inspiration to jennable you! I have EIGHT cards to share with you today.

For this card I used the stamps included in the My Monthly Hero Kit, I ink-blended the bottom of a piece of Distress White Heavystock with a little Tea Dye Distress ink, and then I proceeded to stamp the scene-building images from the main stamp set. I used Distress Watercolor Pencils directly on the stamps and stamped them onto the paper. I was careful to not use too much water, so I would preserve the detail of the images.

I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink and added some Distress Rock Candy to the details in the waves. I used Distress Collage Medium to adhere to the glitter.

For this next card, I used the 3 color layering stencil included in the Premium kit. I ink blended Distress Inks; Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Tea Dye to create the background. I ink blended on Distress White Heavystock and I used blender brushes (that I store in my favorite brush caddy). As always when I use stencils I used the Make Art Stay-tion and whenever I am ink blending I love to use the Ink Stands to hold my ink pads, I also use a small mister bottle filled with Isopropyl Alcohol, to quickly clean my stencils with a Flour Sack Cloth. Have you seen my new *exclusive* Flour Sack cloths?! They are wicked fun and available in my online shop!

I then die-cut some of the pieces from the new Sea Creatures Fancy Dies, out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, and colored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I stamped the sentiment from the new Sea Quotes using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. I also added some Prisma Glitter to the background details with a Sakura Quickie Glue pen. I added some Distress Rock Candy to the die-cut elements and sentiment.

For this next card, I started by creating an inky watercolored background using the Ocean Blue + Gold Two-Tone Metallic Spray from Hero Arts. I then diecut images from the Sea Creatures Fancy Dies, out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, and colored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. The sentiment is also from Sea Quotes, and I colored Distress Watercolor Pencils directly on the stamp and stamped it onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then sprinkled some Distress Rock Candy Distress Glitter, and Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter here and there on the card.

I used the same supplies to create this next card, only this time I used the new Aqua Texture Bold Prints, and colored Distress Watercolor Pencils directly onto it. I did lose some of the detail, however the way the pigments pooled onto the red rubber stamp, and then stamped onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock was so pretty! I also stamped the image with Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink. I also added Distress Rock Candy Glitter and Chunky Glitter to embellish the card.

For this next card, I used the new Color Layering Beach Floor Stencils. I used Distress Inks; Tea Dye, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet, and Wild Honey to ink blend these layered stencils. I then added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter along the foam of the sea. The sentiment is from Sea Quotes and I stamped it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.

For this next card I started by ink smooshing a bit of Salvaged Patina Distress Ink onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I dried this layer and then ink blending Uncharted Mariner Distress ink through the new Listen to the Sea stencil. I then splattered a bit of water and a bit of Uncharted Mariner ink onto the background. I then stamped and embossed a bunch of the fish from the new Hello Fishes stamp set. I watercolored these with Distress Watercolor Pencils and added some Distress Rock Candy to them for a little shimmer and texture.

For this next card, I started by stamping the new Aqua Texture Bold Prints with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink. I added some water droplets to the background. I then stamped out a bunch of the images from the Hello Fishes stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. I was having so much fun with the Hello Fishes stamp set, I made one more card. This time when I stamped the new Aqua Texture Bold Prints with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink I didn’t add any water droplets. I then stamped out a bunch of the images from the Hello Fishes stamp set and colored them with Copic markers in a different color palette than above. I added some sparkle with Prisma Glitter and a Quickie Glue Pen.
