Winter Wishes
For this card, I used the new Twig and Stump die set to create this winter scene. I love that the set comes with so. many different elements, there are a lot of creative options!
I started by die cutting the snowman out of Distress Watercolor cardstock and shadowed the sides with Salvaged Patina Distress Watercolor Pencil. I also used the ornaments meant for the tree to use as their coal buttons.
I did a little ink smooshing with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink to add a little color to the background.
I die-cut some of the snowflakes included in the set out of sparkle cardstock and teal cardstock. For the greeting, I die cut it from teal cardstock, and then ink blended the edges with Peacock Feathers Distress ink and then layered some sparkle cardstock behind it.
Of course, I had to glitter all of the things, I added some Prisma Glitter sparkle to the shadow of the snow people with a Quickie Glue Pen, and Distress Mica Flakes to the base of the card with Distress Collage Medium.
