Hi, everyone! I am here today to share a card I created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This challenge is encouraging you to create a monochromatic card! There are so many fun sets from Lawn Fawn that you could use for a variety of different cards. I created a unique Halloween card.

Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-
Ghoul’s Night Out, Lawn Fawnatics
For this card, I combined the new Giant Trick or Treat and Nighttime Sky Stencil and the previously released Booyah and Starry Sky Stencil to create this fun Halloween scene!
The color I chose, the monochromatic color scheme was inspired by one of the new Distress colors, Uncharted Mariner.
I started by using the moon mask included in the Nighttime Sky Stencil and adhering it to a piece of Distress White Heavystock with some removable adhesive. I then gently ink blended a soft application of Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink. By using regular Distress for this I am able to get a very light application and a translucent application. I am using Blender Brushes for this.
Next, keeping the moon mask in place, I laid the Starry Sky Stencil over the background and ink blended Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink, heavily, much darker than the background.
I then put the moon stencil in place, and ink blended with the same Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink, concentrating the ink heavily on the left side for a shadow. I laid the moon detail part of the stencil over it, and ink blended that with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I think when you are creating a monochromatic card, black, white, and even gray are neutral colors so you can use those along with your one color.
Next, I splattered some white gold paint from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors palette. I dried this background with the Ranger Heat tool and then die cut it with the largest stitched rectangle from the Outside In Stitched Rectangle. I stamped “Ghoul’s Night Out” from Booyah with Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide at the bottom of the stitched rectangle. Since Distress Oxide has a pigment property it stamps nicely.
On the card base, I ink blended the edges with Uncharted Mariner Distress ink, inking it with dark color at the top and a gradient to white at the bottom. I attached the stitched rectangle to this with Foam tape.
I then stamped some images from Booyah, I decided to dress up my ghost like a pirate. This set is so fun to work with, I mean c’mon dressing up ghosts for trick or treating! Fun!
I colored the images in Copic markers. You can see the colors I used below, and they are linked in the supply list at the bottom of this post.
For the sentiment, I ink blended some Distress White Heavystock with Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide and die cut two Giant Trick or Treat dies. I then cut the word “treat” off of one of them, and layered it don’t the sentiment offset a little bit with a Lawn Fawn Glue tube.
I then added this sentiment to the card with black foam strips. I added the ghost with black foam squares. I added some glitter details to the ghost with a Quickie Glue pen and Prisma glitter. I also added some black glaze pen to the eye patch. I added a little white gel pen to the cheeks of the ghost.
Next, I added some glossy accents to the offset word “treat” and sprinkled Prisma glitter over it. I let it dry before I tapped off the access. I love this dimensional glittered word!
