Spooky Cute Halloween, Lawn Fawn

Hello everyone! I love creating Halloween cards, there is something about creating fun, spooky, stories, and of course, with the Lawn Fawn spin on them, we have a little cute too!

Alright, now to the fun, spooky card I have to share with you-

Spooky Cute Halloween, Lawn Fawn

For this card, I started by ink blending a panel of Distress White Heavystock with Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion.

I then diecut the new Full Moon from this panel, so the stitching frame would be on the card. I die-cut the full moon from a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock as well so I could do some wet techniques with it. The reason why I didn’t ink blend the whole background on Distress Watercolor Cardstock, is because I wanted the colors to be brighter than they would on watercolor cardstock.

I then took the moon die-cut from Distress Watercolor Cardstock, and ink smooshed it with Fossilized Amber and Pumice Stone Distress Ink. I heat set the layers in between. I also ink blended the edges with the same Distress Inks too.

I then inset the moon into the background that I previously ink blended. I added the moon with black foam squares. I also die-cut the bat out of Black Licorice and Storm Cloud Cardstock. I cut the little fangs out of some silver sparkle cardstock from the holiday pack. Next, I die cut the spooky fence out of Black Licorice cardstock, and added it to the bottom of the card.

For the sentiment, I die cut the new Giant Trick or Treat out of Black LIcorice Cardstock, and the word “treat” out of the purple sparkle cardstock included in the Autumn Sparkle Cardstock pack. I trimmed the word “treat” and then added it to the sentiment offset with Lawn Fawn Glue Tube. I added this to the card, and then the bat with black foam squares.

Lastly, I die cut some of the sparkles included in the full moon die from the black sparkle cardstock included in the Autumn Sparkle pack and adhered those with Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.
