Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Release: Hugs

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing with you a fun card! I made it with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps Hugs Release!

A Glazing Day, Simon Says Stamp

For this card, I used the new A Glazing Day stamp set. I stamped images from the stamp set all over the card panel, and then proceeded to color it with Copic markers.

I then added glossy accents to the icings and candies, and Distress Rock Candy as a sugar coating to the edges of the frosting on the donuts.

For the sentiment, I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossed it on vellum. I wrapped the vellum strip around the card and adhered it on the back. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool so I don’t get any stray bits anywhere and I get a nice smooth emboss.
