Hey everyone! I am here today to share with you a couple of cards with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps Happy and Joyful release!

Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Release: Happy and Joyful

These 2 cards were a ton of fun to create and came together pretty easily! Let me share with you how!

I started by ink blending a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide. Letting the colors overlap, to create a pretty rainbow ink blended background.

I then took the new Simon Says Stamp, Lined Background Cling Stamp, and put it in the misti. I misted the stamp with a Distress Sprayer and stamped it down onto the ink blended background.

Next, I took another piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and stamped the Lined Background Cling Stamp – leaving an impression of the ink that was pulled off of the original stamping. I diecut the backgrounds with the largest Outside In Stitched Rectangle from Lawn Fawn.

This is a fun way to quickly create two backgrounds. This stamp is a red rubber cling stamp and I find this technique is more successful with this over a clear stamp.

Next, I stamped some party hats, balloons, and speech bubbles from the new Time to Party stamp set using Pawsitively Saturated Inks.

The Pawsitively Saturated Inks stamp these solid images beautifully, and so smooth! Once I had the images cut out I added some sparkle with a Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma Glitter, Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, and Chunky Glitter! Glitter all of the things!

I added some sentiments from the Time to Party set into the speech bubbles and some confetti and sparkle accents using Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I matted the card front onto some black cardstock. Just like that, I have two birthday cards ready to go in the mail!
