Hey everyone! I am here today to share with you a couple of fun cards I made with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps And Back Again Release!
Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Release: And Back Again
Simon Says Stamp sent me the new XL Love Greetings stamp set to play with. I love typography, and having a variety of sentiments to use is always nice!
Since this set was filled with sentiments, it inspired me to go through some other stamp sets I haven’t had a chance to use yet, and find some images I wanted to work with. I pulled out Simon Says Stamp’s Woodland Whimsy set for these cards.
For this first card, I stamped the hedgehog onto a piece of Distress White Heavystock with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf Ink Pad. This gives the images a soft look, that I wanted for this card. I then masked the hedgehog and ink blended a soft background. I used Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink. I then colored in the hedgehog with Copic markers. The specific Copic colors I used are listed below and linked in the supply list at the bottom of this post.
I stamped the heart, colored it in, and fussy cut it out.
I also used Copic markers and a white gel pen to add little dots to the ground.
I then die-cut this panel with a stitched rectangle and stamped the sentiment from the new XL Love Greetings and Versafine Onyx Black ink. I mounted it onto some red cardstock and added glossy accents to the heart.
For this first card, I stamped the hedgehog onto a piece of white Neenah 80# cardstock with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf Ink Pad. I then masked the hedgehog and stamped several birch trees with the same brown, Crunchy Leaf Ink Pad. This gives the images a soft look, that I wanted for this card.
I then colored in the hedgehog, the birch trees, and the ground with Copic markers. The specific Copic colors I used are listed below and linked in the supply list at the bottom of this post.
