I have 3 fun holiday cards to share with you using some of the new products that have just been released. I love a good alphabet, and the new one from this release does not disappoint I hope you find these fun and inspiring! Ho Ho Ho
For this holiday card, I used the new Quadrant Backdrop Hot Foil to create the background. There is also a coordinating die and stencil for this Quadrant backdrop. I am using the Spellbinders, Glimmer Hot Foil System and the Spellbinders Platinum Machine. The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System works with most die-cut machines, you don’t need a Spellbinders Platinum. I used the Speckled Aura foil from the Spellbinders 4 pack.
I then stenciled/ink blended the Festive Leaves Background stencils, and die cut them I used the following Pinkfresh Studio Inks:
- Ballet Slippers
- Sparkling Rose
- Bubblegum
- Mint
- Meadow
I then ink-blended some cardstock with Bubblegum Pinkfresh Studio Ink, and die-cut the new Jeff Alpha dies in ” HO HO HO” I cut the back layer from gold sparkle cardstock. I created a sentiment strip by stamping one of the sentiments from the Ornament stamp set. Once the card was all assembled, I added some of the new Glitter Drops in Gold, I just love these little gems so much!
Joy
For this next card, I used the same supplies as above, using some of the leftover bits from the Festive Leaves Background Stencil. I also used the Ruby Glitter Drops to mimic berries.
Merry
For this last card, I used the negative piece of foil from one of the above backgrounds where I used the Quadrant Backdrop Hot Foil and using the Solid Hot Foil Plate, I created the background. I then added the letters “MERRY” and an ornament, along with the smaller sentiment “good cheer”. I used Copic markers to color the ornament.
I then added a touch of Prisma glitter with a Quickie Glue pen to the ornament.
