Hi everyone! You might remember that I guest designed for Pinkfresh Studio last month, well I am honored to announce that they have invited me to be a Creative Ambassador for them!! What does that mean exactly? That I will be sharing more inspiration with Pinkfresh Studio supplies each month, and “jennabling” you of course! But seriously I am just excited to be bringing you even more inspiration from another fabulous company!
I have some fun cards to share with you using some of the new products that have just been released. Warning: I am still having fun foiling all of the things! Be sure to read to the end of this post where you will find giveaway details, and where to hop next to be inspired!
Full disclosure last month was the first time I had played with hot foil supplies. I found it EXTREMELY easy! It was fast, and I LOVE the results!
I used the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System seen above, and the Spellbinders Platinum Machine. The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System works with most die-cut machines, you don’t need a Spellbinders Platinum.

Proud Of You
For this first card, I started by hot foiling the new Songbirds on Branches, onto some Distress Watercolor Cardstock with gold foil. I then watercolored in the images with Pinkfresh Inks (linked in the supply list below)
- Olive
- Keylime
- Candy Violet
- Raspberry Bliss
- Marigold
- Sapphire
I then trimmed the background and matted it onto some gold cardstock.
There is also a coordinating stencil and stamp and die for this foil plate.
For the sentiment, I used Pink Fresh’s Celebrating You hot foil plate and coordinating die. I used the solid foil plate, to get the knockout of the sentiments, and not waste the gold foil from the first foiling of the sentiments. I also gold embossed the smaller sentiment from the new Lily Frame Stamp.

For this card, I also hot foiled the new Songbirds on Branches Hot Foil Plate again on some Distress Watercolor cardstock, and watercolored the birds with Pinkfresh Inks– Sapphire and Marigold. I fussy cut them out. I then hot foiled it again, but this time on dark gray cardstock.
I added the details to the edge of the cardstock with the Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die.
I attached the watercolored birds with some glue. For the sentiment, I gold embossed and die-cut “thanks” and gold embossed the smaller sentiment from the new Lily Frame Stamp. Lastly, I added some Stargazer Jewels.
You Are Loved
For this card, I used the new Geo Tiles Hot Foil plate, and gold foil on a piece of Distress White Heavystock. I found that Distress White Heavystock foils beautifully!
I then proceeded to ink smoosh with a piece of acetate and Pinkfresh Inks (linked in the supply list below)
- Bubblegum
- Sweet Mustard
- Mermaid Cove
I trimmed the panel and matted it with Gold Metallic Cardstock.
For the sentiment, I used Pink Fresh’s Celebrating You hot foil plate and coordinating die. I used the solid foil plate, to get the knockout of the sentiments, and not waste the gold foil from the first foiling of the sentiments. Lastly, I added some Bubblegum and Ocean Breeze Jewels.
Thinking of You
For this card, I started by inkblending on some Distress White Heavystock with Pinkfresh Inks (linked in the supply list below)
- Bubblegum
- Sweet Mustard
- Mermaid Cove
I then diecut it with the new Daisy Chain Coverplate Die and mounted it onto some black cardstock.
For the sentiment, I stamped with Versafine Onyx black and used Pink Fresh’s Celebrating You stamp set and coordinating die. The small sentiment is from the new Lily Frame Stamp.
I added a small butterfly that I stamped from the new Botanicals and Butterflies stamp. I colored it in with some warm gray Copics, and added a touch of Prisma Glitter with a Quickie Glue pen.
Lastly, I added some Glacier Jewels.
For this last card, I used the new Geo Tiles Stencils. I ink blended on Distress White Heavystock with the following Pinkfresh Inks (linked in the supply list below)
- Mermaid Cove
- Tidal Pond
- Ocean Breeze
There is also a coordinating Geo Tiles Die, and I used the Geo Tiles Hot Foil Plate on my card earlier in this post.
I added the details to the edge of the cardstock with the Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die. For the sentiment, I stamped and die-cut “friend” from the Lily Frame Stamp with Mermaid Cove Pinkfresh ink, I traced it with a Quickie Glue pen and sprinkled on some Prisma glitter. The smaller sentiment is from the new Lily Frame Stamp and I stamped that right on the background. Lastly, I added some Glacier Jewels.

My favorite is the Thanks card, the songbirds on the black card stock with foil looks stunning. I adore the branches with the birds. The bling add even more pop.

All your cards using the new release are delightful. Hope pinkfresh adds geometric plates to their “frameless” line, because your example was wonderful, but hard to create in a 5×7 size.
I loved ALL of them really. Hard to pick a favorite but the song bird was really cool but them I loved the background ones. I am so new at this because I bought the glimmer machine but haven’t even opened it because I am a little intimated by it but it is only paper right? Hopefully I will start this week.
