Kaleidoscope Holiday Card Set, Pinkfresh Studio

Kaleidoscope Holiday Card Set, Pinkfresh Studio

For this card set, I started by ink-blending the new Kaleidoscope Stencil with Pinkfresh Inks in Eucalyptus, Spruce Tips, and Lush Forest onto Distress White Heavystock.

I used Honey Bee Stamps blender brushes (that I store in my favorite brush caddy). Whenever I am ink blending I love to use the Ink Stands to hold my ink pads, I also use a small mister bottle filled with Isopropyl Alcohol, to quickly clean my table surface with a Flour Sack Cloth. Have you seen my new *exclusive* Flour Sack cloths?! They are wicked fun and available in my online shop! As always when I use stencils I used the Make Art Stay-tion to hold them in place.

I then ink-blended pieces of Distress White Heavystock to die-cut the letters from. I ink-blended a gradient with Cherry Blossom and Peony inks. The first letter was cut from the new Kaitlin Alpha. I matted these large letters with gold metallic cardstock. The rest of the large sentiment was cut with the Heather Alpha. This has been discontinued, but you could use any other large alpha die set. Then, I created the smaller sentiments for each card by gold embossing Basic Banners: Christmas onto the same ink-blended Distress White Heavystock and die-cut them with Basic Banners: Celebrate Die.

I then added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter to the tips of the letters with Distress Collage Medium. I also added some of the new Pinkfresh Studio Clear Drops in Blush and Emerald City.
