Haunted Trick or Treat, Lawn Fawn

Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-

Haunted Trick or Treat, Lawn Fawn

Chari recently shared a card using Happy Haunting, which is an older set, but I do love the haunted house, so it inspired me to create this card!

I started by stamping out, coloring with Copics, and die-cutting images from Happy Haunting, Trick or Treat, and Costume Party.

Copics Used

I share the exact markers I used below, and link to them in the supply list at the end of this post.

I then ink-blended some a panel of Distress White Heavystock with Soot, Blue Jay, Sugar Plum, Juicebox Lawn Fawn Ink. I then inkblended the moon with Sunflower and No. 2 Pencil Lawn Fawn ink. Once the moon was yellow, I added a bit of texture by adding some dots with Copic markers.

On the background, where I knew the moon was going to be, I inkblended a little Sunflower ink over the previous blend. I cut the background from one of them the largest Outside In Stitched Rectangles.

Whenever I ink blend I use the Ink Stands, and the Rectangle Ink Stands that I carry in my online shop are perfect for Lawn Fawn inks. They hold the ink pad in place, and also help you so you don’t get inky fingers.

I also love Simon Says Stamps Blender Brushes. I have used some other brands, and I find that these are softer, and I like the large ones are nice and big and cover a good amount of surface at once.

I store them in the Layer Cake Brush Caddie, that I carry here in my {creative chick} studio shop. I put the caddie on a lazy susan, using wall putty to hold it on, this way it is easy to spin to the brush I want, and it doesn’t take up much space on my studio table.

I then stamped some of the solid bats, spooky fence and the sentiment “trick or treat” with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I then matted the background onto Ground Coffee Lawn Fawn cardstock. I added the moon to the card flat. And the rest of the images with black foam squares. I added some dots along the ground with a Copic marker. I added some black glaze pens to the solid bats, and jack-o-lantern faces. I then added some glossy accents to the dots on the moon and dinosaur.
