I just wanted to pop in and let you know I have a fun and informative post over on the Simon Says Stamp blog today about the new Distress Oxide Ink Pads!! Be sure to pop on over and check it out. Also, let me know in the comments below any questions you have as I will be sharing more about these ink pads at a future date!
Great post on SSS! The cards are a great representation of what makes Oxides unique….I am looking forward to playing with them more! The single ink layers that you did with the hearts are so striking!!! Thanks for continuing to inspire me!
Love your cards Jenn!!! Thank you for sharing how you made the cards. I especially love the cards with the hearts. The ribbon is the perfect finishing touch! What kind of ribbon did you use and how did you did you dye it so perfectly? Thanks again!
Hello Elaine,
Thank you for your comment. I used Tim Holtz Crinkle Ribbon and I rubbed Distress Inks (the regular Dye based kind) directly onto the ribbon, then spritzed with water. To finish it heat with your heat tool. I LOVE creating ribbon like this! You can see more how I did this on this post: https://shurkus.com/cards/multi-color-resist-with-distress-inks
