Hi everyone!
2020 has been a year of hard decisions. It has been a year of adapting, and being flexible. Today I am sharing with you another tough decision I have had to make. I have decided to postpone the in-person event, Crop on the Cape 2021 which I was supposed to host in March 2021 until March 2022.
Crop on the Cape is the largest event that I host with over 250 people. I’ve been waiting and hoping that the pandemic would subside to a point where state regulations would change and allow us to hold an in-person event the size of the Crop on the Cape event. However, as of November 2nd, the policy in Massachusetts is that indoor gatherings at all venues and locations are limited to 25 people. With the number of new Covid cases rising again in our region, it seems highly unlikely that the state will ease these restrictions any time soon. Taking this into account and recognizing that I’ve run out of time to adequately plan for the March 2021 event, this is how I came to the decision to postpone Crop on the Cape until March 2022. Save the date: March 17-20, 2022. I am so disappointed to have to make this decision, but I hope everyone will understand.
Remember I mentioned that 2020 has also been a year about adapting? Well, I AM excited to announce that we are planning for a fun virtual Crop on the Cape to take place on March 18-21st, 2021. Stay tuned for more information about this virtual event.
As always, thank you all for embracing the changes I have had to make this year, and for your support in my creative adventures,
If you would like more information about this cancellation, you can find it on our event status page here
How sad for you to have to cancel again but everyone’s health is very important. I hope that at some point I can travel to the Cape from mid NH to attend one of your events. Thanks for all you do.
