Winter Watercolor, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you a festive holiday card I created with some of the newest Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamps.  I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products!

Winter Watercolor, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous

For this card, I started by ink blending the edges of an A2 Distress Watercolor Cardstock panel with Rustic Wilderness Distress ink.

Then on another Distress Watercolor Cardstock panel, I started stamping the holly branch from the new Winter Watercolor stamp set. To do this I inked up the leaves with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink, and Pine Needles Distress Ink, I inked up the berries with Festive Berries Distress Ink, and then I dabbed a little Vintage Photo Distress Ink along some of the branches. I lightly misted the stamp with the Distress Sprayer and stamped it onto Distress Watercolor cardstock. I continued this process until the background was filled with holly branches.

I then splattered some gold paint from the Gansai Tambi Starry palette and trimmed the panel to 4″ x 5.25″. I adhered it to the 1st panel that ink blended Rustic Wilderness on.

Next, I took a piece of vellum and gold embossed the sentiment  “All is calm, all is bright” from the new Bold Tidings Mini stamp set. I also die-cut a stitched rectangle frame out of gold sparkle cardstock. I adhered these to the front of the card with foam squares.

For a finishing touch, I added some Distress Collage Medium to the berries and sprinkled Distress Rock Candy over them. I love this crystalized look that they get with this technique!
