Watercolored Beach Scene with Art Impressions

06/29/2016

Time for a NEW Simon Says Stamp Wednesday ChallengeHey everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Add Some Shimmer challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Anything Goes!
We are featuring Art Impressions Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used! As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! YAY!

It was super easy for me to pick what stamp set I was going to use from Art Impressions. When I saw this Tryfold Beach Set I couldn’t wait to try it out.

Beach Tryfold Cling Stamp Set, Art Impressions

The package the stamps came in had awesome instructions that were clear and easy to follow to create this interactive card 🙂

I watercolored with Distress Markers. Since the card is larger with all the folds, I used Ranger Inkssentials Watercolor Paper which comes in 8.5×11.

This card has a fun gate fold that reveals a fun beach scene!

Hey Jenn, I love this card and can’t wait to try some of the tri-fold designs from AI. I have several but haven’t had time to experiment! AND, I need to get over the BIG PICTURE again for your class.

I am so lucky! I don’t live by the ocean but I do live in a lake community which is the next best thing. Every day is like being on vacation. Gets pretty wild on the weekend during the summer but oh during the week it is absolutely peaceful. Wouldn’t go back to the city on a bet. Love the cards.

Hi Jenn! Oooooooh…this is AWESOME, possum! When I first looked at your card I thought, “Oh dear, Jenn’s beach got hit by a Tsunami.” LOL. I really like interactive cards! This is way cool. I love the watercolor look. Thank you for having me as the spotlight designer this month at SSS!
