Vintage Garden, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing with you today a card I created with the Simon Says Stamp’s August Card Kit, Vintage Garden! This kit is overflowing with products! A 6×8 stamp set, an embossing folder, a mesh bag perfect for organizing, beautiful patterned papers, and more! There is such a variety of products, this kit is perfect for anyone!

Vintage Garden, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

For the first two cards, I used the Vintage Garden 6×8 stamp set, the Silver detail Embossing Powder, and Embossing Clear Ink pad all included in the kit.

Note: whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool

I stamped the floral images off the sides of some of the colored cardstock included in the kit. I also stamped and embossed the sentiments. I then matted the card fronts with more colored cardstock and some of the patterned papers included in the kit.

For the third card, I used the Picnic Floral Embossing Folder included in the kit. I inked it up with a white pigment inkpad, and put in a piece of gray cardstock included in the kit, then put it through my Spellbinders Platinum die-cut machine. This inks up the background and pushes through the design without any ink.

I then stamped “thanks” on some of the purple cardstock included in the kit, and fussy cut it out, but there are dies available that you can purchase separately.

I stamped the smaller sentiment “is not enough” using SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink, in Amethyst. I then stamped 2 butterflies from the Vintage Garden stamp set included in the card kit using gray Copic-friendly ink and colored them in with purple Copic markers. I fussy them out and added them to the card with foam squares.

There are also coordinating dies for these images that you can purchase separately too.
