Two Step Simple Leaves, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

I had so much fun creating with the Two Step Simple Leaves 6×8 stamp set included in the kit. I love that there is a solid stamp and a coordinating outline stamp. I used Distress Watercolor Pencils, directly onto solid stamps, stamping onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I dried that layer. I stamped the coordinating outline stamp using the Ground Espresso Distress Watercolor Pencil.

I followed the same steps for the largest leaf and then die-cut it with the coordinating die. The die set isn’t included in the kit, but you can purchase it separately.

I splattered some pigment from various Distress Watercolor Pencils. I also splattered some water. I dried this layer, and then I stamped “you are in my thoughts” loosely, scribbling Pumice Stone Distress Watercolor Pencil onto the sentiment stamp, and then stamped it repeatedly.

I trimmed the background down to 4″ x 5.25″ and then roughed up the edges with a paper distresser. I added this panel to some kraft cardstock. I then gold-embossed the sentiment and die-cut it, adding it to the card with a foam square. Lastly, I added some gems that were included in the kit to the card.
