Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-
Trick or Treat, Lawn Fawn
I have loved playing with Distress Black Heavystock lately, and the Halloween season is a perfect time! I started by hot-foiling the Starry Sky Hot Foil Background with Fuchsia foil. I am using the Spellbinders, Glimmer Hot Foil System, and the Spellbinders Platinum Machine. The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System works with most die-cut machines, you don’t need a Spellbinders Platinum.
I also die-cut the Giant Trick or Treat die out of Distress Black Heavystock too.
I then watercolored with the Gansai Starry and Gem palettes onto the background and “Trick or Treat” sentiment.
I stamped the row of ghosts from Simply Celebrate Fall . I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black to stamp the images, and I stamped them onto Lawn Fawn white cardstock which is Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White Paper.
I trimmed the background down to 4″ x 5.25″ and then layered it onto Autumn Sparkle Cardstock. I then used Black Foam Strips to adhere the words and ghosts to the card.
I added a bit of black glaze pen to the eyes and mouths of the ghosts. I then added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter to the word “or” with Distress Collage Medium.
