Thinking of You Mermaid

Hey everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Anything Goes Challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Thinking of You!

Thinking of You Mermaid, Lawn Fawn

When I was browsing through all the awesome Penny Black stamps/dies at Simon Says Stamp I knew immediately when I saw this adorable mermaid I just had to have her! 😉 It reminds me a little bit of the movie “Splash!”, which i LOVED as a kid.

I started by watercoloring her with no-line watercoloring, I then fussy cut her out. I adhered her to some pattern paper I found in one of my MANY 6×6 paper pads. I then heat embossed the sentiment and added Ranger Enamel Accents to the bubbles.

Thinking of you cards are great to have on hand-so I plan on making a few more of these!
