As always, I have so much fun creating with the Simon Says Stamp card kit! There is always a great variety of products- so you can make many different cards.

For this card, I used the Big Thanks Autumn stamp set included in the kit, and one of the backgrounds I created while watching a Tim Holtz Facebook Demo.

Using the background that is in the lower right, I stamped the main image of the stamp set directly on it. I then fussy cut it out. To add some dimension and set the images apart from each other I colored some of the images in with colored pencils. Since the colored pencils are transparent you can still see the inky background through the coloring.

I then white embossed the sentiments on some dark brown cardstock. For the “Thanks” I fussy cut those out and popped them up off the card. The banner is hand cut too, as I wanted it to be skinnier than any of the dies I had.

Lastly, I sprinkled some sequins on the card for a little sparkle.

We have had beautiful fall colors here on Cape Cod, so I snapped a pic of this card with those beautiful colors as a backdrop.

There are so many other cards I could create with this awesome card kit, I can’t wait to play with it a bit more! I hope you enjoy these cards and find them inspiring for when you get your kit!
