Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Release: Holly Jolly

Hey everyone! I am here today to share with you a fun card I made with some of the new exclusive products from Simon Says Stamps Holly Jolly Release! This release came out a bit ago, but I have been so busy preparing for my Virtual Creative Journey Art Retreat I didn’t get a chance to post earlier.

Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Release: Holly Jolly

I had so much fun creating this holiday card with the new “Lumen” embossing folder. I love the texture it gives, and that it can be used all year round.

I started by ink smooshing some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink onto a Distress Watercolor panel. I then ran the panel through my Spellbinders Platinum machine with the Lumen embossing folder. I followed the directions on the Platinum machines platform.

I then took a piece of white cardstock and die cut from it the “Ho Ho Deer Circle” die from Simon Says Stamp.

I used 3M foam tape to adhere that panel to the embossed background. I then stamped the banner and “Warm Wishes” from the “Snowflake Builder” stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I then fussy cut it out, and adhered it to the card.

Lastly, I added some red Stickles to the deer’s nose and sprinkled a few clear sequins here and there for some added sparkle. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the Holly Jolly release from Simon Says Stamp, there are a lot of fabulous items to inspire you!
