I previously posted how my Lawn Fawn classes for this spring are all canceled. Even though I can’t teach everyone in person, everyone that has signed up with a store will be getting details from their store directly about the kits and access to exclusive tutorial videos. Meanwhile, I have been busy hosting Facebook LIVE’s and other inspiration. I also hope to have more kits available in my shop in a few weeks

Sending Big Hugs, Lawn Fawn

For the cards I created this month I was very inspired by Jennifer McGuire and how she was encouraging us to create simple cards for nurses, first responders, grocery store employees etc.  to just stay home and STAMP!

I also love that Lawn Fawn is encouraging us to “Share a Smile” – creating cards, creating with family, sending cards to family and friends- all of that is important right now.

The cards I created I wanted them to be simple enough so that I could make a bunch of them and get them in the mail right away! I cut strips of Dandy Day papers in various widths. I adhered them to a white cardstock panel and then diecut them with a stitched rectangle die.

Next, I diecut “big hugs” from Big Scripty words. I share my trick of how to do this so you get perfectly spaced scripty words each time in my post here.

I then cut some simple strips of white cardstock and stamped “thinking of you” from Simply Sentiments.

Lastly, I die cut some hearts from Bugs and Kisses and the Happy Wedding set.

Hoping these simple but sweet cards will put some smiles on faces when they are found in their mailboxes! Hope you are all staying safe & healthy!
