Did you know that Lawn Fawn is turning 10!? I can hardly believe it! I have been creating with them for 9 years now!!

I wanted to create an extra special card for the Lawn Fawn Headquarters Fawnies, and will be popping this in the mail to them soon!
I started out with some Yupo Cardstock, and Alcohol Inks. I used Citrus, Pool regular Alcohol Inks and then Tranquil and Sublime Alcohol Pearl.
I then die-cut “TENTH” out of the new Olivers ABC’s. I cut the word twice, once out of Narwhal Cardstock and Once out of Shimmer Cardstock from the Tropical pack. I layered them together to create a drop shadow with a Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.
Next, I stamped the deer from Party Animal and colored him with warm gray Copics. I wanted to be sure all the teals and green colors really popped, so I kept the deer more neutral color.
I then used Big Scripty Words to stamp “Happy Birthday” – I LOVE this stamp/die set and use it a TON in my classes.
Some people have a hard time stamping and die cutting these because of all the loops and narrow edging. I have an easy way to do it and get a perfect image each time.
- Put some scrap cardstock into your Misit, and stamp the words you will want to use on your card. Keep this setup. Hold it with your magnet, or some Thermo Web Purple Tape.
- Die-cut the words you will want to stamp. Overlay the negative on top of the words you stamped on scrap cardstock. Be sure that the alignment is correct. Tape in place.
- Place in the die-cut words into the negative cardstock.
- Stamp your words in whatever colored ink you would like.
Perfect placement each time!
