Seahorse Kisses, Spellbinders

Hello everyone! I have some fun cards to share with you that I created with Spellbinders’ new Seahorse Kisses release! This release was illustrated by my friend Dawn who owns WPlus 9 and I adore the images!!

Alright, now to the fun cards I have to share with you-

Seahorse Kisses, Spellbinders

I started by hot foiling the new Spellbinders Seahorse Floral Glimmer Hot Foil Plate onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock for these two cards. I did one with gold foil and the other with Fuchsia Flower foil. I am using the Spellbinders, Glimmer Hot Foil System, and the Spellbinders Platinum Machine. The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System works with most die-cut machines, you don’t need a Spellbinders Platinum.

I then watercolored the images with Distress Watercolor Pencils. If you want to learn more about Distress Watercolor Pencils, I recommend you take my online class!

I also hot-foiled the sentiments and added them to the cards with foam squares. As a finishing touch, I added some Trinity Stamps, Blow Out Bauble mix.

For these cards, I hot-foiled the new Under The Sea set with gold foil and watercolored the images with Distress Watercolor Pencils. For the background, I did a little bit of ink smooshing with Distress Ink. I also added some Trinity Stamps, Blow Out Bauble mix.

For this last card, I started by stamping and masking the images from the Seahorse Garden set. I then scribbled Distress Watercolor Pencils onto the seaweed stamp and stamped over the masked images. I also added some Trinity Stamps, Blow Out Bauble mix.

I then peeled the masks off and watercolored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I added some bubbles by scribbling Distress Watercolor Pencils onto the bubble stamp and stamped them.

You all know I am totally in my element creating ocean-themed cards- and I had so much fun! I hope you enjoy these cards!
