Sea-son’s Greetings, Lawn Fawn

Alright, now to the fun project I have to share with you-

Sea-son’s Greetings, Lawn Fawn

Again, look at me and all the red I used on this card! So proud of myself 😉 Ok, I started by stamping out a bunch of the seashells from How You Bean? Seashell Add-On with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and on Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I also die-cut the letters for “Sea-son’s Greetings” from Henry’s ABCs and the Holly Border from Distress Watercolor Cardstock as well.

I then watercolored these with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I had a ton of fun doing this, and loved the outcome! I splattered all the letters, holly, and seashells with Dr. Ph. Martin’s bleed-proof white. Then, for the background, I die-cut a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock with the largest stitched rectangle from the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I then did a gold wash of paint using the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Palette. I also splattered some of the gold paint too.

I added the letters onto the card with foam strips. I used the grid on the Make Art Stay-tion and some Best Ever Craft Tape to line them up nicely, straight, and even.

I matted the background onto a piece of Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper cardstock, and lastly, I added some Distress Rock Candy to the bottoms of the letters and details on the seashells with Distress Collage Medium.
