Retro Wishes, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing with you today a few cards I created with the Simon Says Stamp’s August Card Kit, Retro Wishes! This kit is overflowing with products! Retro Wishes, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

I had so much fun creating this card set with the latest card kit from Simon Says Stamp. Be sure to read to the end, there is a lot of inspiration in this post! One thing I love about the Simon Says Stamp card kits, is that having a set amount of products in front of you makes creating a fun set of cards quick and easy.

For this card, I used the 6×8 stamp set, Retro Wishes included in the kit, and Pawsitively Saturated Inks. Tropic is included in the kit. I absolutely love these ink pads and have been creating a lot with them. I stamped two different rainbows one with warm tones and one with cool. I used the following Pawsitively Saturated ink colors:

Warm Tones:

• watermelon
• peony
• bubblegum
• sunbeam
• grapefruit

Cool Tones:

• sprout
• dublin
• tropic
• violet
• orchid

I then used the sparkle stamps included in the Retro Wishes stamp set, and painted on gold paint from the Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Color set and stamped them. I love the imperfect look they gave. I also added a few splatters.

I traced the inner arch of the rainbow stripes with a Quickie Glue Pen, and added Prisma Glitter. I stamped out the sentiments included in the Retro Wishes stamp set, and fussy cut them out, however there is a coordinating die set that you could use as well. I then added a sprinkle of Autumn Sky Sequins.

I trimmed down the background, and ink blended the card base with coordinating colors to the rainbow, and added the background to the card with foam tape.
