One Set- Two Ways, Honey Bee Stamps

Hi everyone! I am wicked excited to have been asked to design for Honey Bee Stamps! Not only will I be sharing inspiration with Honey Bee Stamps products, but I will also be sharing videos and how-to’s as well! I have been creating with Honey Bee Stamps for a long time, they have sponsored many of my Creative Journey Art Retreats, and I am so thankful for that! I always have fun playing with their products!

In the video (linked below), you will see me create this card with the new Lovely Layers: Fall Treats dies and Heartfelt Hello stamp sets from Honey Bee Stamps. I also used the Mini Messages: Sweets stamp set along with the Barn Wood Planks die set. I couldn’t resist using some of the new Homestead Harvest Pearl stickers, as they look like button candy on these cards!

I used Copic Markers and Distress White Heavystock to create all the candy pieces. With the swatches above, you can easily substitute for similar colors or even a different coloring medium. I ink-blended the barn wood planks with Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Wilted Violet for the two cards to give them a touch of shadow. I also added some white gel pen details to some of the candy pieces. Lastly, I added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter to some of the candy pieces with Distress Collage Medium.
