Hey, everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This weeks challenge is Animal Magic!

I miss your face, Gina K/ MFT
I had fun making this quick card. I painted wide bands of color with Distress Oxide Colors. I stamped and watercolored the two kitties (one is Mister Harley, and the other is Gus Gus). I stamped the “I miss your face” sentiment. Finishing off the card I added some Lawn Fawn chunky glitter to the ground of the kitties, and a few sequins with the Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.

Ok Jenn, so so many amazing cards to choose from, you are definitely one creative chick! Although I really love the nostalgia of your “uber cool” initial post, I have to say one of my most faves was the “dont bug out” Tim Holtz card you made. From the amazing linen texture background to the layered bugs and torn watercolor cardstock, it has always stood out in my mind as a showstopper. You are very talented, and inspiring. xx

You have made such amazing cards each week that it’s hard to narrow it down to 1 so I have to say that the masculine card “For a Guy with Tim Holts” card is super cool! Love the colors! But I also love the seahorse tag you show here is really cool with nice dimension!

I would have to say floral frenzy because I am so intimidated using inks but your no line watercoloring inspired me to give it a try on my list of 50 million other things to try. Lol. I want to do it all!

UGH I always dislike when people say choose your favorite because it is so hard when you have scraplifted 30+ cards from a person’s blog because they inspire you so much, or have you quickly grabbing the credit card to make that purchase. But since you asked I looked in my desktop folder titled Shurkus and gave it a peek. So after narrowing down my favorites to 5 I finally settled on one that my mom loved when I showed it to her. Watercolored Rose card using Altenew stamps. I will be sad to see you go from the DT but will still look forward to all your projects thru social media.
I haven’t been following the SSS challenges for very long, so it was great to look back at your work over the last four years. I’d have to pick one of your most recent cards, Hello Miss Thang. I fell in love with the colors the moment I saw it. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
This card is so cute! Really hard to pick a favourite from your cards. The Oh Ship one (from last August) is really fun, so I’ll pick that one 😀 Thanks for the chance.
I have a bunch of your cards that I like. I really like the one you showcased-love the cats! The others are “The Pina to my Coloda’-to super cute, “Love you now and forever”-super sweet, and the “All is calm, All is bright”-love the colors and the snowflakes! All of them are so pretty!
I’ve loved seeing your cards in the challenge over the years. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think I’m going to go with the Salt Life/Penny Black card. Knowing your love of the beach, that card just kind of personifies all things Jenn to me. 🙂
