Alright, now to the card I have to share with you, that is full of love.
Lots of Love, Lawn Fawnatics
I started with the Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape, and cut out the scalloped rectangle with Lawn Fawn Chili Pepper cardstock. I then die-cut the “hugs” and “ur cute” hearts from the Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape out of white cardstock. If you don’t have both slimline dies, you could use one set to create this card. Honestly, I had some extras cut from when I was designing my “Special Delivery” online class, so I was using that up.
I then inked the 2 hearts with Lawn Fawn Bubblegum and Lobster ink. Creating an ombre look, with the top of the hearts still white. I then cut out a Scalloped Gift Tag, and set it aside.
Next, I stamped out some images from the new Special Delivery stamp set, Copic colored them, and die-cut them out.
Then I glittered the large hearts by using a Quickie Glue pen and Prisma Glitter first. I filled in the bottom of the heart and scribbled some glue up towards the top. Then dip it into the Prisma Glitter. Next, I used glossy accents and gently dabbed some adhesive on the bottom of the heart. I then used my fingers to sprinkle Chunky Glitter onto the glue. This process allows for the Chunky Glitter to be sparse.
Then I assembled the rest of the card. I also stamped “Lots of love for heart day”, I cut it out in “word-fetti” style and inked the edges with Lobster ink, and added it to the card.
Remember Valentine’s cards don’t need to be just for those you are in a relationship with. I plan on sending some out to friends this year to brighten their day! Hope you join us in this challenge.
