Hi, everyone! No worries, even though I am having fun sharing Halloween cards with you, I am not done sharing summer cards! I am here today to share a card I created for the latest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. This challenge is a sketch challenge! Use this layout to inspire your card layout.

Alright, now to the fun card I have to share with you-
Keep Swimming, Lawn Fawnatics
For this card, I used the sketch as inspiration for the placement of bubbles on my background. I used the Bubbles stencil, the row of smaller bubbles, and spread Fairy Dust Texture paste through it onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I let this dry, then did another row, let it dry again, and did another row. I had a sprinkle of bubbles going up the card in a diagonal line.
While the paste was drying I stamped out some images from Ocean Shell-fie and colored them in with Copic markers. I also die cut the word “swimming” from Coles ABCs and colored the letters with Copics making an ombre.

I then did a little ink smooshing onto the background with Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I trimmed this panel down to be 4″ x 5.25″ and matted it onto Rainforest Cardstock.
I laid down the “swimming” letters for placement and then stamped “keep” with Harolds ABCs. Using the Wendy Vecchi Stay-tion helps keep the die cut letters in place, with the magnetic ruler that is included, and assures everything is straight with the grid on the mat.
I use an acrylic blog to stamp out the word “keep”, and since the Lawn Fawn block has a grid I am able to easily keep it straight. Lawn Fawn ABC stamps are cut in a block shape to make putting them together in a word easy and have the spacing correct between letters. This typography geek LOVES that!
I adhered the rocks, seaweed, and a few fish to the card with glue tube and everything else with foam squares. The letters went on perfectly with foam strips!
