Just A Note, Simon Says Stamp

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing with you some fun cards I created with some of the new exclusive products from the Simon Says Stamps Just A Note Release!

Just A Note, Simon Says Stamp

For this first card, I used the new Layered Sunflowers stencil set. I ink blended with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the following colors onto Distress White Heavystock:

• Peony
• Bubblegum
• Grapefruit
• Sunbeam
• Sprout
• Tropic
• Violet

Simon Says Stamp has been releasing ink cubes in these fabulous Pawsitively Saturated inks!

I used Simon Says Stamp blender brushes (that I store in my favorite brush caddy). Whenever I am ink blending I love to use the Ink Stands to hold my ink pads, I also use a small mister bottle filled with Isopropyl Alcohol, to quickly clean my table surface with a Flour Sack Cloth. Have you seen my new *exclusive* Flour Sack cloths?! They are wicked fun and available in my online shop! As always when I use stencils I used the Make Art Stay-tion

For the sentiments, I used the new So Swell stamp set and Versafine Onyx Black Ink. For the smaller white embossed sentiment, I used Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Cardstock, and Lawn Fawn Yeti Pigment Ink. I love Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing powder and whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool.

For the background, I took the smaller sentiments and put them on an acrylic block, and I stamped them using Distress Paint in the following colors:

• Kitsch Flamingo
• Spiced Marmalade
• Mustard Seed
• Twisted Citron
• Peacock Feathers
• Shaded Lilac

To clean up the Distress Paint, I swiped a piece of Distress Kraft Heavystock through the palette of paint, to create the background for this card. I spritzed some water with a Distress Sprayer to get the drips to form and then dried it with a Ranger heat tool.

I then stamped a sentiment from the So Swell stamp set and Versafine Onyx Black Ink. For the smaller sentiment, I stamped on a strip of kraft heavystock and added it to the card with a foam strip. I filled in the large letters with a Sakura Black Glaze Pen to add a little shine.
