Hoppy Days Ahead, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing with you today some cards I created with the Simon Says Stamp’s March Card Kit, Hoppy Days Ahead! This kit is overflowing with products! A 6×8 stamp set, a mini cloud stencil and mask, a small blending brush, a Pawsitively Saturated ink pad, beautiful patterned papers, and more! There is such a variety of products, this kit is perfect for anyone!

Hoppy Days Ahead, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

For these cards, I started with the 6×8 Hoppy Days Ahead stamp set. I stamped and masked the bunnies on some Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Masking the bunnies allowed me to stamp the grass and flowers behind them.

I then cut each of the scenes out with a stitched rectangle. I proceeded to watercolor the images using the new Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I pressed the ink pads onto a piece of acetate to create a palette and used a small brush to watercolor in the images. The inks I used:

• Surf
• Cantelope
• Sunbeam
• Sprout
• Fairway
• Sweet
• Seafoam
• Bubblegum

The inks watercolored beautifully!

On one of the cards, I used the small cloud stencil included in the kit, traced it with a wet brush and Seafoam ink, and proceeded to watercolor a sky around it.

I then stamped the sentiment “thinking of you” from the 6×8 Hoppy Days Ahead stamp set, in the cloud with Surf ink.

I love the little “word fetti” sentiments that are included in the 6×8 Hoppy Days Ahead stamp set and stamped one of them in Sweet ink, cut it out, and used foam squares to adhere to the card.

To embellish the cards I added some Prisma Glitter and Chunky Glitter to the hearts, clouds, and bunny tails. I also added some glossy accents to the flowers.

I mounted the cards onto some of the cardstock and patterned paper that was included in the kit.

Simple cards, but I know they will brighten someone’s day, and I had a ton of fun creating them! I hope they have inspired you! AND there are so many other supplies in the kit I have yet to play with- so even MORE cards to come! Get your kit here!
