Get Cracking: Merry Alcohol Inks
Did you happen to catch the recent LIVE that Tim Holtz posted all about Alcohol Inks? I found it so inspiring, and it made me want to create with them! That is what inspired these cards. He used a hair curler to blow the inks around, and I loved the idea of that instead of using a hand blower. This was a lot of fun, and gave a different look than with a hand blower.
I used Simon Says Stamp outlined ornaments stamp, and gold embossed it on yupo paper, filling the background with alcohol inks. I also created an alcohol ink background and used an alcohol lift ink pad- so fun!
I sentiment stacked some Lawn Fawn Scripty Merry’s and added them to the cards. I also sprinkled a few gold metallic stars that I diecut from Lawn Fawn’s Tiny Tag Heart & Stars die.
I am really looking forward to this LIVE as it is so fun to play and demo with Alcohol Inks!

Gorgeous cards! I haven’t used alcohol inks much before, but this looks like a perfect project to try.
