Full of Thanks, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Full of Thanks, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

I had so much fun creating these two cards, and it was so quick and easy! Let me share with you how I went about it. I started by stamping a few of the main images in the Full of Thanks 6×8 stamp set included in the kit with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink, I used the Misti stamping tool so I will be able to stamp the image again after coloring it.

I then used the Full of Thanks Blendables stencils to add color to the images. I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks in the following colors:

• Taffy
• Sherbert
• Grapefruit
• Sunbeam
• Citrine
• Sprout
• Latte
• Cappuccino

I used the Wendy Vecchi Stay-tion and Tombow removable adhesive runner to hold my paper in place. I used Distress White Heavystock because it ink blends beautifully! Anytime I wanted to ink blend only part of the stencil I use small sticky notes to block the rest of the image.

When I ink blend I like to use the Simon Says Stamp blending brushes, and I store them in the layer cake caddie, they all fit on my desk and take up very little space. I also use the ink stands to hold my inks in place. The Ink Stand rectangle ink holder is PERFECT for the Pawsitively Saturated Inks

I then fussy cut out the images, which is easy when you have some good precision scissors like those included in this kit. You could also purchase the coordinating dies for the Full of Thanks set.

I then used Copic markers to add some dots in a variety of sizes mainly in the shadows of the images.

I then diecut a large stitched rectangle out of Distress White Heavystock, and ink blended the background with SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks, they blend beautifully! I stamped the sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black and added the images with foam squares to the background. I then sprinkled on a few sequins.

I matte both cards onto kraft cardstock.
