Fa La La La card trio, Pinkfresh Studio
For this card set I started by hot foiling the backgrounds using the Pinkfresh Studio Sparkle & Shine Hot Foil Plate. I used Distress White Heavystock (it foils beautifully) and I am using the Spellbinders, Glimmer Hot Foil System, and the Spellbinders Platinum Machine. The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System works with most die-cut machines, you don’t need a Spellbinders Platinum. For hot foils, I used Pastel Pink, Pastel Purple and Moondust foils.
I then ink-blended pieces of Distress White Heavystock to die-cut snowflakes from the Large Snowflake set. For each card I used three coordinating Pinkfresh Studio inks from the new ink lineup.
I used the following color schemes:
- Atlantis
- Turquoise
- Waterfall
- Opulence
- Wisteria
- Sheer Freesia
- Mulberry
- Peony
- Cherry Blossom
For the sentiments, I gold hot foiled the Fa La La La hot foil plate and die-cut it out. I added everything to the card with foam squares and then I added some coordinating glitter gems and jewels for some sparkle. For the card bases, I did an ink blend with the same 3 colors I used to create the snowflakes!
- blue card I used Lagoon Glitter Drops
- purple card I used Amethyst Glitter Drops
- pink card I used Bubblegum Jewels.
