I am so excited to share with you the new release from Colorado Craft Company! New illustrations from Anita Jeram, and they are so fun to create with! Ok- let’s get to the good stuff!

I created two different cards to share with you today- let’s get started with the details! For both of these cards, I started by stamping and coloring images from the Starfish Wish and Beach Life stamp sets. I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black to stamp the images and I stamped them onto Lawn Fawn white cardstock which is Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White Paper.
I used the above Copic markers to color the images. With the swatches above you can easily substitute for similar colors or even a different coloring medium. If you are interested in learning more about Copic coloring, or alcohol marker coloring, be sure to check out my Copic 101 post here.
I added some Prisma Glitter with a Quickie Glue Pen in different parts of the images.
Next, I white embossed the sentiments from both sets onto some kraft cardstock. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I stamp the sentiment several times over using a Misti and Yeti white pigment ink, then sprinkle the Alabaster White embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.
I decided to keep this card pretty simple, clean, and simple! I ink-blended a little bit of Merman Lawn Fawn ink in the sky, and using Copic markers I dotted the ground to create sand.
For this card, I did color the whole background using 3 markers (BG13, BG32, BG11) and no one tell my kitties that I didn’t color them on this card- ok?
These stamps were so fun to play with! The illustrations are just so sweet. I hope you enjoyed these 2 cards!
