Costume Party, Tim Holtz/Sizzix

I can’t get over just how CUTE these little guys are when put all together!

For these cards, I used the new Costume Party, Sizzix Dies. I did a combination of colored cardstock (mostly Lawn Fawn) and ink blending to get the variety of colors. I was sure to use some gold metallic cardstock for the buttons and buckle on the Frankenstein. I also used some sparkle cardstock on the cloak of the vampire.

I used the sentiments from Scared Silly to stamp fun backgrounds on stitched rectangles with Distress Oxide inks. I matted the stitched rectangle with black cardstock.

I then made some fun inky backgrounds with ink smooshing techniques using both regular Distress Ink and Distress Oxide ink.

• Spiced Maramalade
• Wilted Violet

I stamped “happy halloween” from the Regions Beyond stamp set and white embossed it on black cardstock, cutting them out in sentiment strips.
